Laboratory

As stated in National Environment Monitoring program The Environment research department performs different types of environment quality examination: air, water, water objects (rivers, lakes) ground, natural ecosystems studies; also performs national level research on pollutant emissions and environment pollution in extreme situations.

 

Our organization applies newest EU approved standards, international standards and best methods approved in Lithuania.

The Environment research department established management system, that lets to control research processes and assures quality and reliability of performed examination.

In year 2004 Lithuanian National Accreditation Bureau acknowledged the competence of the Environment research department and stated, that this laboratory acts in conformity to the standard LST EN ISO/IEC 17025. On 20th of June 2008 the Environment research department received new accreditation document No. LA.01.064.

The Environment research department performs analysis of 41 parameter of surface water, 33 parameters of ground water, 29 parameters of savage water and 1 parameter of rain water. The laboratory also performs biochemical examinations of surface water and toxic effect examinations of surface, savage water and chemical substances. The mobile team collects surface water samples for further examination.
